COBie is an internationally recognized standard (ISO 19650, formerly part of BS 1192) that organizes asset information in a structured spreadsheet or database format. It is a subset of the BIM process, enabling easy transfer of asset data (such as floors, rooms, equipment, systems, warranties, and maintenance schedules) for use in facility management software after construction.
